Improve your academic IT skills

Make the effort

Invest a little time to learn more about IT. Learn about the most commonly used tools and make your learning task-based.

For example, you could write a list of things you need to do for a particular piece of academic work, such as:

  • create a chart for a report
  • attach a file to an email
  • add an image to a presentation.

Video tutorials can be an effective way of developing IT skills. The GCFLearnFree IT video tutorials cover core tasks which will help you to format and present your academic work. Approximate timings are shown for each tutorial.
