In-curriculum teaching for your students

You can arrange in-curriculum teaching sessions on: Academic Communication, Maths, Statistics, IT Skills, and Information Skills. These sessions are planned and taught by our Academic Skills Tutors or Academic Librarians who will customise the teaching to meet your module learning outcomes. The sessions can also be timed with students’ assignments to maximise effectiveness and relevance.

  • Collecting and analysing data
  • Critical thinking
  • Essay/report/dissertation writing
  • Exam preparation
  • Finding and evaluating information for dissertations
  • Referencing
  • Strategies for reading and note taking
  • SPSS and NVivo
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher

How to arrange a teaching session

If you would like to arrange a teaching session for your students, please complete our online request form.

Please contact us at least two weeks in advance, to allow enough time for us to arrange and plan a session for you.
